I have been a veterinary surgeon since 2017, with experience in both hospital and clinical settings.
I graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Lisbon in 2017, and later deepened my knowledge in Small Animal Medicine through a postgraduate course at Improve International (2019–2020).
Throughout my professional career, I have worked for several years at a hospital near Lisbon, and in two clinics. This path has been accompanied by continuous training in areas such as canine behaviour, cardiology, emergency care, and internal medicine – including participation in various national and international congresses and workshops.
My main areas of interest are internal medicine and animal behaviour.
About Yoshi Vet Care
Yoshi Vet Care was born from a simple idea: it's not always easy to access reliable veterinary information and advice when we need it. In my day-to-day work at the clinic, I realised that pet owners had many questions, and that they often turned to the internet or friends to try and get answers, which frequently leads to incorrect conclusions.
In this way, I decided to create this project to bring that knowledge to you – in a structured, organised, and approachable manner.
Why "Yoshi"?
Yoshi was my dog and a very special member of our family. I’d always grown up with dogs, but Yoshi was the first dog that was truly "mine". I adopted him shortly before leaving home, and he quickly became a great companion in life. He used to follow me "everywhere", and we shared a lot together.
He taught me much of what I know about what it truly means to care for an animal — and about how much that relationship is worth. This project is named after him because I wanted to keep him present and to serve as inspiration for our mission.
What moves us
At Yoshi VetCare, we believe that pets are part of the family. That’s why our mission is to help pet owners look after their pets as good as possible, by providing reliable and practical information to support them in making the best decisions.
Our wish is for every owner to get the most out of their relationship with their pet, with confidence and peace of mind.
